Discharged
I just wanted to say to everyone going through the bankruptcy process to hang in and do lots of reading of this site as it really helps! I found I felt really bad when I finally decided to see a trustee but it was the only answer I could see after many years of carrying a large debt load the trustee made me feel okay with what I was doing and after a year of buckling down and making payments I was discharged as promised paying back less then what I owed. It helped me realize my mistakes and hopefully my children will never have to experience the process but thank god we have it. The best thing is that when you are discharged it is a little harder to get credit but isnt that what caused our problem anyway. Thanks bankruptcy canada.
