Income tax after discharge

I want to know whats happened to income tax refund after discharge from bankruptcy.
I am planing file in May bankruptcy together with my wife.The 9 months after that is February 2010.I want to know whats happened with tax refund for 2009 .

Any income tax returns for the year of bankruptcy or any years previous are lost as a result of the bankruptcy. So any 2009 tax refund will be sent to your trustee and create a dividend for your creditors.
