As a result of a bankruptcy you have an R9 that is listed with the credit bureau maximum of 6 years from the date you are discharged from bankruptcy. This is a maximum and if you make no effort to re-establish credit this will be the the inevitable result, but if you follow the steps listed at the following link you will be able to shorten this time frame fairly significantly: credit repair.
