What happens to a person who has declared a bankruptcy and who is paying an amount during the first year but suddenly dies. What happens then?

This really depends on what is in the estate and the presence of any life insurance etc. In my office, if there are not issues like life insurance then we simply request a bankrupts discharge from the court. But you are best to contact their trustee and have this discussion with them.
