my daughter`s Credit card company took money out of her bankaccount, can they do that

Yes they can – it is called the right of set-off. If your daughter owed money on a credit card issued by the bank and she had money in an account at the same bank the bank has the right to take her payments directly from her bank account.

The easy solution is to change banks, but that will only stop the bank from taking her money – it will not solve any underlying debt problems…
