applying for a student loan after discharge

Hi there. I was discharged from my bankruptcy in May 2008. I desperately want to go to school but will I be approved for a student loan?

This will depend on a number of factors. Whether you were a student prior, whether you filed for bankruptcy on any student loans etc. In light of this you are best to contact your local student loans department and direct this question to them as all I can tell you is I have seen a number of people after bankruptcy qualify for student financing, but I have seen a few people who have not and it appears to be a decision that is made on a situation specific basis.
