Can any Canadian who filled bankruptcy get a credit card or line of credit of $5000 from any firm or bank?

That depends on the bank – anyone may apply for credit in Canada, it is up to the lender to determine whether or not they will be approved.

If an undischarged bankrupt applies for credit in excess of $500 they are required by lkaw to disclose the fact that they are bankrupt to the person/company that they are applying to – if the company decides to approve them for the credit that’s their business…
