I just filed in August – My trustee says there are 2 returns. For the 1 filed for August until end of year (dec) if there is a refund – who gets it

Any tax refund for the year of bankruptcy or any year previous is lost. So your 2008 taxes will go to your trustee and ultimately be distributed amongst the creditors.
