execution

September 17th, 2008 by Questions

I received my discharge and it says:
If there werejudgements or executionsn against you at the time of your bankruptsy to obtain on order of the Court to extinguish the execution.

How would I know if there were an execution against me? first time I read this.

Thank you

You may check with the local Sheriff’s Office – they can tell you if anyone has registered an execution against you.

Executions are the result of either Small Claims or a Civil Suit (lawsuit) – if you’ve never been sued you won’t /can’t have an Execution against you.
