if someone filed for bankruptcy, does it affect the caregiver that he/she hired? is the caregiver can still continue to work with this person?

It comes down to affordability. Can you afford the caregiver. There is nothing in the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act that would prevent this, but really it would come down to whether or not it fits into your budget.
