There are two things you need to be aware of:

1. While you are in bankruptcy you are not eligible to be a director of a limited company; and

2. While in bankruptcy you are required to disclose to all persons with whom you enter into any business transaction that you are currently in bankruptcy.

If you are interested in doing self employed work I would suggest you may find that filing a proposal would allow you to avoid some of these requirements.

Either way you should discuss these in more detail with a local trustee.
