At what time after bankruptcy do I become eligible for a student loan from the government? Or is it ever possible?

To the best of my knowledge, there is not time limit or rule prohibiting someone that has filed bankruptcy from applying for student loans.

However, if you hav edefaulted on student loans in the past, or included student loans in a past bankruptcy then you may not be eligible.

The financial aid officer at the school you plan on attending should be able to assist you with these questions.
