Are we able to leave Canada to look for work after claiming bankruptcy, if finding employment in Canada is unsuccessful?

There is no problem with relocating either within or outside of Canada. The only difficulties that may result are logistical and can usually be worked out with your trustee. The biggest challenge is usually the counselling sessions, so if at all possible try to arrange for the counselling prior to moving, this will greatly simplify things.
