My partner filed as bankrupt before we met…I am wondering how my credit will be affected when we file as common law for our taxes this year?

There will be no direct impact on your credit or your taxes as a result of your common law having filed for bankrutpcy. The one thing you will have to do is provide your net income to the trustee as it will be required to do your bankrupt partner’s taxes.
