Once all paperwork is signed with the trustee, how long will it take for the creditors to stop calling about the missed payment?

, A licensed trustee said:

It depends on whether or not you are answering the phone? If you pick up the phone and inform the creditors that you’ve filed (and give them your trustee’s phone number) that should put an end to the call. If you don’t answer the phone the auto-dialers may call you until you do, or at least for another couple of fews until someone at the agency processes your paperwork.

If after you tell a collection agent or creditor to call your trustee they still call you then you should be forwarding their name and number to your trustee to deal with them.
