Pension
October 16th, 2007 by Questions
My absolute discharge has been sent to the court for signing and is currently there for the 10 day holding process? My husband has just received notice that he will be receiving his pension, due to a plant closure, this is a wind up pension fund, these funds have to be locked into a lira or other locked in fund…there is also a small cash amout that is over the allowed transfer limit. My question is…are these funds protected or are the ceditors entitled to any of these funds?

If it is a small amount and your discharge has already been heared and approved then you shouldn’t have to worry. But you should disclose this to your trustee to ensure that you don’t have difficulties later.
