Student Loan
I filed bankruptcy last December. I did have student loan which was less than 10 years. Until December, I was only able to make payments to student loan not the credit card companies. Since I filed bankruptcy, student loan payments stopped and I started making income surplus instead.
I recently found out that these payments are not going towards to my student load. So it is in standby mode until i get discharged.
I wasn’t eligible to apply for interest relief for the student loan either. So i have not been making any payments since I filed.
Would it cause any conflict if I voluntarily pay student loan on top of Income Surplus payments that I am making?
I just like to at least pay the minimum for student loan instead of waiting for discharge (which might take years to complete).
Thanks.
