hi , I f I choose to do a consumer proposal for my old student loan debt, I am I allowed to keep my credit card , as it is in good standing, with no out standing debt on it.

When filing a consumer proposal you are not able to retain any credit cards, regardless of whether they are in good standing or not.
Now after the consumer proposal has been filed you can apply for another credit card, but cannot retain the old ones.
