Consumer Proposals – What happens to a credit card with no balance?

What happens to the credit cards that do not have any balances on them? Do they have to be turned into the trustee as well and if not, can they be used while on consumer proposal

The Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act requires bankrupts to surrender credit cards to the trustee (Section 158(a.1). This section would also apply to consumer proposals as per Section 66.4(1). This applies to credit cards even if there is no balance on credit cards.
