Consumer proposal

I have not been discharged from Bankruptcy but I received proceeds from accidental death insurance . The accidental insurance was taken after 10 months declaring bankruptcy Can a proposal be done Do I have a choice. Is accidental death exempt from trustee taking the money

Certainly a proposal can still be done – contact your trustee (or a new trustee if for some reason you don’t want to use the same trustee again) and they will explain your options.
