Truck loan when u go bankeupt

My girlfriends ex husband has went bankrupt and she is a co signer on a truck loan he claims he is keeping the truck what happens to her credit and what happens if he doesn’t keep paying the loan what should she do to find out

If her ex husband is keeping the truck, then a bankruptcy really won’t change anything. Nothing happens to her credit as long as he continues to make payments on the loan. However, just like before, if he should stop making payments then her credit would be negatively impacted. In terms of what you can do to find out, try talking to the bank and see if you can get a copy of the monthly loan repayment details.
