Probably – bankruptcy does not eliminate Court imposed fines and/or Restitution Orders. If you’ve been fined or assessed some sort of environmental penalty or charge then bankruptcy will not clear those debts. If you simply owe a salvage company a bill it should clear that.

My best advice is to go and speak to a trustee in yoru area – they will refer you to a lawyer if they think your debts may survive the process. Obviously you want to sort all of this out BEFORE you decide to file…
