Is a person allowed to file more then one consumer proposal over a period of time?

As long as you have successfully performed the first consumer proposal you can file a second consumer proposal on new debts without any problem.

The only time it may be a problem is if you defaulted on the first proposal. In that instances you are not allowed to file a second consumer proposal on those same debts without first getting permission from the court.
