Yes it is possible, but with a consumer proposal it will be more difficult. The question is if you have consumer debt now, are you in a position where you can qualify for a mortgage. If so you may be better off to qualify first, buy the home and then look into the consumer proposal. However, if you are not in a position where you can qualify currently then you may have to look at solving your consumer debt issues before you are in a position to qualify and the consumer proposal may be the way to do this.
