mom’s debt willed to me

My mom passed away but unfortunetly she didn’t leave any money to pay off her debts now I have to pay them off with my income. Can I declare bankrupcy cause of these bills of hers

A licensed trustee said...

Unless you co-signed your mother’s debts you are not legally responsible to repay them. You should talk to whatever lawyer is assisting you with your mother’s estate to find out your rights – you probably don’t have to repay these debts.
