There is no problem with you declaring bankruptcy, the presence of the lien does not prevent that. However, you will want to discuss the exact nature of the lien with your trustee to determine how it will be treated during the bankruptcy. There is often a lot of confusion between a lien and a writ of enforcement, so be sure to be specific with your trustee so he knows exactly what you are dealing with.
