Good morning I have a question. If my ex declares bankruptcy and we seperated a year ago will I be affected. We never got married, never had a house together, my name was never on his loans or credit cards, we used to have a joint checking account but it has been closed.

If you have no joint property, never signed on any of his debts then you don’t have to worry about his filing a bankruptcy causing you problems.
