Bonuses/RRSP

I have just found out that I will be receiving a bonus from my work. Will this amount have to be included in my surplus? Also are my RRSP contributions included in my surplus income?

Yes, a bonus will be included in your surplus income.

In addition so will any RRSP contributions, you cannot simply contribute to your RRSP and eliminate the need to pay surplus as you are still benefiting from that income you recieve.
