traffic court charge

I recently had a judgement in court for $5000 (traffic court). I was already thinking of applying for bankruptcy, can I include this charge in the bankruptcy? I really cannot afford the monthly payment on top of everything else.

Court fines and penalties like this are not cleared by the filing of a bankruptcy. This debt still needs to be listed on your bankruptcy documents, but it is a debt that is not cleared by the bankruptcy.
