Mr. York

A friend declared bankruptcy last year and after one year had passed she was told that the creditors no longer had any rights to any assets she may acquire. Another 6 months has passed and just last week the back released the funds in her account to creditors. My question is – do these creditors still have the right to these funds 1 1/2 years after brankruptcy has been delcared.

A licensed trustee said...

There’s more to this story that you have been told (or are telling me) – the BEST thing for your friend to do is call the trustee that handled their bankruptcy and ask them for assistance. Something is not quite right here…
