You should be signing some form of payment arrangement before you file – your payments will be based on the number of people living in your household and your share of the total household income. Unless there are large changes in your income (either higher or lower) you should be able to tell what you will be required to pay each month and how long you will be required to make those payments.

Make sure you understand how this works BEFORE you file – once you have filed your payments will be calculated each month based on the information I set above. It is a mathematical exercise, not open to negotiation.
