If a husband and wife file jointly, and wife income is alot less than husband, Will she be released after nine months or continue for 21 months with husband?

If you are talking about a joint bankruptcy then you are looking at combined income of the husband and wife. Therefore it doesn’t matter who’s income is smaller the total income dicates the length of the bankruptcy. The net result is the husband and wife will be discharged at the same time.
