Not agreeing with the consumer report
I have failed to vote NO to consumer proposal and do not think I should be on the list of debtors. I rendered services to my client. Can I sue him privately even if he is protected by consumer proposal

If the consumer proposal has been accepted by a majority of the creditors then it is legally binding on all creditors. Now there are a few exceptions (see debts that are not released by bankruptcy or proposal), but if you don’t fall into the types of debt on this list it would be illegal for you to pursue the debtor for any amounts owed.
