Using credit before bankruptcy

Due to recent family changes, I may have no choice but to file for bankruptcy despite having good credit.

If I use my credit cards/line of credit to purchase a freezer meat package or to stock up on other food and essential items (e.g. baby formula, diapers, etc) will this cause me problems if/when I file?

The best advice is that once you know you are going to have to file for bankruptcy you should stop using your credit cards. It is not appropriate for you to put items on credit when you know a bankruptcy is imminent and doing so can result in complications with your bankruptcy.
