Credit during Bankruptcy

I am currently under a bankruptcy but my bank just sent me a credit card for emergency use Am I allowed to activate this card if i don`t plan on using it till after I am released

A licensed trustee said...

Before you use it you need to confirm that your bank knows you are an undischarged bankrupt. If you don’t you run the risk of getting yourself into serious trouble…
