what do you get to keep

If you have co-signed a loan for your daughter for her car.. does she get to keep the car and if you have a older truck paid for do you get to keep it in a bankruptcy….

The answer to this question is going to depend on a) who is filing for bankruptcy, b) the value of the truck and the care, and c) how much is outstanding on the car loan.

The best thing to do is to contact a local trustee directly and they will be able to run through the answers to the above questions and advise you as to the potential ramifications on the vehicles.
