I need help

I filed and right now I am bankrupt. I have a new claim running in the courts right now that has started to garnish my wages. I thought if I was still bankrupt that this would not be possible. Could it be that the garnishment is also under my soon to be ex husband too?

A licensed trustee said...

If you have aleady filed you should direct this question to your trustee – you are paying them to deal with things like this. If the debt originated before you filed for bankruptcy then they can’t legally proceed, but you have to ask your trustee to intervene in order to stop them.
