After the proposal has been accepted, about 65 days. I would like to take a 2500.00 RRSP to help with 2009 taxes. Is this a good idea?

A licensed trustee said...

Call your trustee to discuss this – if you filed your proposal after January 1, 2010, then your 2009 income tax debt will be automatically included in your proposal. There shouldn’t be any need to cash out your RRSPs…
