My mother recently passed away. If I receive an inheritence just prior to going into bankruptcy will I lose this?

Yes, regardless of wheter an inheritance was received just before or during abankruptcy the funds would need to be brought into your trustee.

Failure to do so can cause substantial difficulties with the bankruptcy process and can ultimately result in you not being for a discharge.
