can you keep any money

My Husband and I have to file joint bankruptcy at the end of nov we are a family of three and have about $2000 in the ban. Will they take all of this or will they leave a percentage of it to live on?

When a bankruptcy is filed you will be permitted to have money that is required for your normal living expenses. What is at risk is savings that someone may have. Now from the sounds of it your money is required to live, so in a bankruptcy it wouldn’t be impacted.
