RRSP` loan

Hi there almost 4 years ago I took out an RRSP line of credit I had the loan and my husband has the RRSP`s I have claimed bankruptcy what happens to the RRSP`s the original loan was for $17,000 and I got it down to approx $8000.00. Who owns the equity?

This really depends on whose name the investment is in. From the sounds of it, if you put the RRSP in your husbands name then he would ouwn the equity. But for more information you are probably best to ask your trustee as they would be more familiar with your situation.
