receiving income

I went bankrupt for $25000 of credit card debt, I am expecting possibly 5-10 thousand dollars in inheritance, what happens to that money?

Any time an inheritance is received during bankruptcy it is lost as part of the bankruptcy process.

So what you are need to do is to contact your trustee, inform them of the pending inheritance and provide them with all the necessary details. Failure to do this will be considered fraudulent, is an offense under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and will get you in a great deal more difficulty than the $5-10,000 is worth.
