Will I loose my lease car if I file bankruptcy. I read the new law as of 09-09 will prevent this from happening in Canada Federal. But what about BC? Thank you.

British Columbia is bound by these Federal changes, so as long as you haven’t missed or been late on payments so are not currently in breach of the original lease agreement then you shouldn’t have any problems as a secured creditor is no longer able to seize property simply because a bankruptcy has been filed.
