how long before my debt is erased?

i have been living on disability pension now for 9 years.my debt when i became disabled was approx 60k . with interest and penalties it is now over 75k.i have4 no way of making payments on this debt. how long before it is erased?

Your debt is not necessary erased after a set period of time, it really depends on what actions your creditors have or haven’t taken and through some relatively simple means the creditors can preserve their collection rights for a significant period of time. So you may simply have to continue to do what you have been over the last 9 years.
