Personal Assetts

I have a guitar amplifier valued at over $1000 that I need for paying band gigs. Because it is a tool that can provide income for me, would it still be taken away upon bankruptcy?

As long as you can clearly demonstrate that you earn money directly from the use of the equipment, then it would qualify under your provincial tool of the trade exemptions. If you cannot demonstrate this then it would not qualify.
