Help my ex

If I file for bankruptcy, does my ex have to pay for a loan that is in both of our names, even though the bank knew my ex was unemployed on social assistance.

A licensed trustee said...

If your ex co-signed for the loan then the lender certabinly has the right to demand payment from them if/when you file for bankruptcy.
