we are a family of four -husband, wife, two children over 20, one is still at school, the other one is unemployeed, whom has been living at home. we are jointly filing for a bankruptcy. what is a family income allowed for four. Is one , living at home, unemployeed is considered to be a part of family of four? or not? thank you.

You will be treated as a family of 4 and your surplus income threshold is $3,474 of after tax income from all sources. If your son finds work then his income will also be taken into account – not just yours and your spouses.
