add on to bankruptcy?
have a question….my son has been in bankruptcy since may 2009 ..he recently received a statement from a lawyer that he had put down on his bankruptcy. He used the lawyer from July 2007 to May 2009 for one trial….the lawyers bill was doubled in price and he was told that it was to late to add it on…that because the bill came with a date of July ?? 2009 for services rendered? So my question is …can he put the bill on the bankruptcy or has the lawyer found a way around the bankruptcy?

This all depends on when the bankruptcy was filed and when the services were rendered. If the services rendered were prior to the date of bankruptcy then the debt should be included. Either way your son needs to contact his Trustee to discuss it.
