My husband and I have done a consumer proposal. I found out in a two months i will receive money from the goverment for my disabily….with that money i receive be taken away?

Not normally – when you file a proposal you are offering your creditors a deal (the legal term is settlement). Unless the terms of the deal included handing over any government money you receive you’ll get to keep the money when it shows up.
