surplus income

I filed for bankruptcy in february of this year. At that time my trustee told us what we would have to pay for surplus income each month ($2200) was the number but also it stated that a minimum of $1900 must be paid. If I constantly only pay the minimum of $1900 and not $2200 will I just be in bankruptcy longer???

You really need to have this discussion with your trustee. If you don’t make the required payments then your bankruptcy will be extended until you do (but you’ve already guessed as much).
